Description
FENDER TELECASTER/THIN LINE UNIQUE PATINA SONIC BLUE (MIM)
The 1969 Telecaster® Thinline represented a departure from the traditional Tele®. The ash body is similarly shaped, but the ’69 Thinline’s body is semi-hollow and marked by a single “F” hole. The ’69 Tele Thinline found favor with jazz players as well as blues artists for its thicker, warmer tones. Later generations found the Thinline to be the perfect guitar for indie and alternative rock, producing fat chords and searing leads. No matter what your preferred genre, the ’69 Telecaster Thinline provides heavyweight feel and tone. Having said all of that.. This Girl sports a set of Lindy Fralin pickups, upgraded Classic White Botton Kluson Machine heads, Custom Black w/ white Pearloid Control Knobs, a Bigsby B5 Telecaster Tremolo, and Black cover to the Neck Pickup. Plus there is no way of missing the Stunning Patina’d Sonic Blue Finish and Matching Headstock! The Body is was an unfinished licensed after market product. This is another one of Scotty Huffman’s Great Finishes….
This Thinline sports a completely Unique ONE-OFF Color and I must admit it is one of my Favorites.
