Here at Classic Tone Guitars, I’d like to think that I can use my site as a repository for new items, new designs, and thoughts.. Continuing with this theme… Here are two new products that I want to introduce to you… I find this part of the process the most fun… This is the design and gathering phase… here I draw a mockup of the guitar I am thinking of doing (you might have noticed the various mockups in my site) this allows me to hash out all the details.. and you would be surprised how close the mockups look to the finished product many times they are done up to a year before the actual guitar is even started … I also am amassing the parts I need if I do not already have them…and I also begin to talk to my guys who will end up helping with things that I may not be able to do myself (the metal plates being a good example of this)…. then I make sure I can pay for all of this.. Many times cost is the only reason the Guitar is not built yet… In fact I have two or three other guitars sitting in cases in pieces.. waiting for the cash to finish it or the right paint to become available… etc. For example I have a new three pickup “Rodeo” and a new “SRF” waiting in caases… with all the parts needed… in these two cases I am only waiting for one piece…..
So…. Here you go…. Enjoy!
Thank you ,
A 2015 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cutaway / Vintage Burst with that Classic Tone Guitar Vibe! ..

…a Brand New HELLCAT … the HELLCAT II
Begining Life as an Epiphone Junior Double Cutaway which is rare enough in itself, this little beast will sport an upgraded set of Grover Tuners, a Single Lindy Fralin P-90 Dog Ear Pickup, a Meistro Vibrato, and large Vintage Style Audio Hi Fi Knobs.
Not to mention the Hand tooled metal work…. all add up to a wonderful axe.
…The SRF Great White!
This is to be a new SRF model… with out the Carved Top.. I have all the parts for this one, just waiting for the proper paint and the desire to actually do it… If any of you are interested in this guitar.. let me know and maybe we can work something out…
and Finally….. The “Rodeo Royal Crown”.. this is the second model that sports a fantastic bound Mahogany Warmouth neck, three Antiquity Mini-Humbuckers and a Bigsby Vibrato. the Body will also be bound…. I still need to do the body which is no easy feat and I am still figuring out all of the details… I mean it’s a bound carved top semi hollow body… there is much to be considered on this…
Once again, if anyone out there is interested in this guitar, let me know and maybe I can bump it’s completion up….
