TELE BASS (’72-74 Vintage Vault Finish)
Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, the Telecaster Bass was always a Bass that I coveted. They were expensive and a bit off the beaten path but, still only just enough to make them highly desirable. I knew an older player who had one and I always loved to watch him play it. I was young and knew very little about these instruments, plus a guitar was barely affordable let alone a Bass. I secretly told myself that I would one day have one. That day has arrived. This is a brand new Telecaster Bass (72-74 Vintage Vault). The Body and Neck are from All Parts. The Hardware is all Original Fender Vintage Style with a period specific Serial No. on the neck plate. The Pickup is a Lindy Fralin Hum-Cancelling Single-Coil Split. This is a great pickup which retains the vintage tone and output of the original pickup only without the hum. The finish was done by one of the best in the business Scotty Huffman from The Guitar Tone Shop. I cannot say enough about Scotty’s work. He is extremely knowledgeable and very very talented. Just look at the pictures… they say it all.
This is a fantastic affordable Classic (Vintage Vault) Telecaster(ish) Bass. Someone is going to get a real Gem!
